The Louisville Country Dancers host weekly contra dances (including other country dancing) every Monday night at The Church of the Advent, 901 Baxter Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky. Lessons begin at 7:30, dancing from 8-10:30. No partner or experience required. Enjoy live music and a friendly inclusive dance community that welcomes new dancers. Please join us for more dancing on the third Saturday of each month, following a potluck that begins at 6:30. You'll be glad you did.

Our next 'weekend dance'shall be on September the 17th Yes, it is a FRIDAY.
Our next Irish Set dancing will be Sunday, September 19 from 6 - 7:30, followed by our fabulous pot luck supper. The dancing at Willow Park will be over, so we will return to our later time-slot. We will again be meeting at the air conditioned home of Kath Tallichet, 3912 Burning Bush Rd. Coming from town, turn left off Hwy 22 just after the caution sign with the fire truck on it, onto Old Brownsboro Hills Road. Left at the 4th stop sign onto Burning Bush and we are on the left. I haven't chosen the set we'll learn yet, but it's guaranteed to be lively.
