LOUISVILLE COUNTRY DANCE
BOARD OF DIRECTOR'S  MEETING 
MINUTES February 9, 2004

Present were: Kathy Goss, Norm Stewart, Beth Brokaw, Leesa Eason, Ken Shepherd, & Barbara Coles.

1) Treasurer's Report.  (See separate hand-out)  Assets now at $8009.57.  2004 memberships $1464 so far.

2) Church of Advent Acoustics ---  MOTION:  Buy King-size Bed-spreads/quilts to cover windows and some more coverage on walls.
  ($12@with maximum purchase of 20) M/S/P. 
Work day has been set on 21st of February to clean hall and prepare baffles.

3) April Saturday Night Dance at Flying Fish Palace. We had to find another band. Rowdy Routes will play with Will Mentor calling.

4) Potato Run 2004: The committee has met. Need more volunteers. We decided we will have ID buttons made.

5) Balance The Belle 2004:  Nightingale will be the band w/ Steve Zakon calling. The date has been set at September 24, 25, & 26.  This
 is a move from the third Sat. so we could get this band. Barbara Coles has agreed to Chair the Belle Committee. Sub-committees needed 
 include: Decorating, Food, Registration, Workshops (Steve Zakon will conduct two workshops), Hospitality, and Publicity. The boat will
 cost $3150 plus $100 sound system and $75 Calliope. $1575 down payment is due March 1, with $1850 due in August.

6) Sadie Hawkins Dance: March 1, 2004 (Monday Night). Jack Still and others have been doing planning.

7) Next Board Meeting scheduled for March 8, 2004 at St. Andrew's at 6 p.m.
